The aim and purpose of the project
PROJECT OBJECTIVE:
The project will improve the wastewater collection and treatment as well as the water supply infrastructure in the municipality of Fužine.
PROJECT PURPOSE:
The project will contribute to the environmental protection of the groundwater and surface water in the Adriatic basin in and to sustainable economic development by ensuring better and more reliable access to public utilities in the municipality of Fužine. Furthermore, the project will reduce the operating expenses for the water supply network, reduce the loss of water in the network and reduce the risk of pollution of existing sources of drinking water.

The project will improve the existing water supply infrastructure, drainage and waste water treatment in the municipality of Fužine.
FINANCIAL VALUE OF THE PROJECT:
21.5 million CHF (Swiss Contribution: 85%, Croatian co-financing: 15%)
PROJECT DURATION:
2017. – 2020.
TARGET GROUPS:
Population of the town of municipality of Fužine.
