OBJECTIVE:
Improvement of the water and communal infrastructure of the agglomerations of Delnica, Fužine, Brod Moravice in the area of ​​Gorski Kotar, in the context of the implementation of the Municipal Wastewater Treatment Directive (91/271/EEC of 21/5/1991) and the Directive on the quality of water intended for human consumption (98/ 83/EC of November 3, 1998).

RESULTS:
By the end of the project, works will be carried out on the construction, reconstruction and rehabilitation of the Delnice, Fužine and Brod Moravice water supply systems, and a new Monitoring and Control System (NUS) and a system for monitoring and controlling water losses will be established in these areas. Works will also be carried out on the extension of the public drainage system of the municipalities of Fužine and Brod Moravice, and waste water treatment devices will be installed in these areas. As part of the project, special vehicles and equipment are also being procured. The project will ensure better quality and more reliable access to public utility services for residents of the city of Delnica and the municipalities of Fužine and Brod Moravice. At the same time, the operating costs of the water supply network, water losses in the network and the risk of contamination of existing sources of drinking water will be reduced. In this way, healthy and better quality water for human consumption is ensured, as well as more suitable access of the population to public infrastructure.
