OBJECTIVE: Improvement of the communal infrastructure for the collection and purification of wastewater and improvement of the communal infrastructure for water supply in the territory of the city of Delnice and the municipalities of Fužine and Brod Moravice.

RESULTS: Work was carried out on the construction, reconstruction and rehabilitation of the water supply system in Delnice, Fužine and Brod Moravice, a new Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition system (SCADA) and a system for monitoring and controlling water losses in these areas were established. Works were also carried out on the extension of the public drainage system of the municipalities of Fužine and Brod Moravice, as well as the installed devices for wastewater treatment in those areas. As part of the project, special vehicles and equipment were purchased. Better quality and more reliable access to public utility services for residents of the city of Delnice and the municipalities of Fužine and Brod Moravice is ensured. At the same time, the operating costs of the water supply network, drinking water losses in the network and the risk of contamination of existing sources of drinking water have been reduced. In this way, healthy and better-quality water for human consumption is ensured, as well as more suitable access of the population to public infrastructure.
