The project finances the participation of Croatian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in international projects focused on research and development. Through the project, entrepreneurs have the opportunity to achieve international cooperation, find new commercial and technological partners and potential clients and get the opportunity to finance innovative project ideas.

Swiss contribution: 1 million CHF (85 %);
National co-financing of the Republic of Croatia: 0,18 million CHF (15%)

Project objective and results
OBJECTIVE: Encouraging SMEs to invest in research and development activities and strengthening their innovation capacity through international cooperation.
RESULTS: As part of the project, the participation of Croatian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in international projects focused on research and development was financed. Vouchers were awarded for the use of consulting services in the preparation of project applications, and various panels, workshops and lectures on research and innovation were organized, through which SMEs were given the opportunity to be informed about global trends, promote their products and services, technology and knowledge, and thus improve their competitiveness in the market. Through the project, entrepreneurs achieved international cooperation, found new commercial and technological partners and potential clients, and got the opportunity to finance innovative project ideas.
