The 11th Eurostars call for innovative small and medium-sized enterprises is open

HAMAG-BICRO has announced the 11th call (Call 11) for submitting international collaborative projects within the Eurostars-3 program, aimed at innovative small and medium-sized enterprises carrying out research and development activities.

The Eurostars program is part of the European Partnership for Innovative SMEs, co-financed by the European Union through the Horizon Europe program. In Croatia, the research program is funded by the second Swiss contribution, aiming to strengthen the innovation potential of companies and encourage international cooperation.

The program is intended for small and medium-sized enterprises developing new products, services, or processes in collaboration with international partners. The basic requirement is the participation of at least two member countries in the project.

The program aims at:

  • encourageing companies to invest in research and development activities, thereby strengthening their innovation capacity;
  • promoting international collaboration among entrepreneurs;
  • laying the groundwork for international market entry.

For applicants, the main project partner must be a small or medium-sized enterprise engaged in research and development (R&D performing SME). The maximum funding amount is €300,000, which covers up to 60% of eligible costs for micro and small businesses and up to 50% for medium-sized companies. Projects can last up to 36 months, and eligible costs include employee salaries, depreciation and small equipment, external services, travel expenses, and other development activities.

The call represents an opportunity for Croatian innovative companies to develop competitive solutions through international cooperation and strengthen their position in the European and global market.
