Promotional Campaign on the Second Swiss Contribution Launched

The Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds, acting as the National Coordination Unit for the Swiss-Croatian Cooperation Programme, has launched a promotional campaign on the Second Swiss Contribution aimed at informing the public about its objectives, programmes, and results in Croatia. Over the next three weeks, three articles will be published on leading Croatian online news portals, showcasing through concrete examples how funding from the Second Swiss Contribution is being invested in improving citizens’ quality of life and supporting the sustainable development of local communities.

The Second Swiss Contribution continues the successful cooperation between the Republic of Croatia and the Swiss Confederation, focusing on reducing economic and social disparities and strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries. By the end of 2029, a total of CHF 45.7 million will be invested in Croatia through programmes in research and innovation, water and wastewater infrastructure, palliative care, and civil society development.

As part of the campaign, a promotional video on the Second Swiss Contribution has also been produced. In a concise and accessible manner, the video presents the areas of investment and the expected benefits for citizens.
