We invite all interested representatives of public authorities, healthcare institutions, local and regional self-government units, professional associations, civil society organizations to join the consultations with stakeholders regarding the Support Measure within the Palliative Care Programme. The consultations will be held on March 13, 2025 at 10 a.m. at the Ministry of Health, Ksaver 200a, Zagreb. Applications are possible no later than March 11, 2025, and online participation is also possible.
The Palliative Care Programme is aimed at improving the quality of life of patients and their families and will be implemented in cooperation with Swiss public or private non-profit organizations active in palliative care.
The programme will finance:
- promotion of palliative care among medical and non-medical staff,
- raising palliative care to a more accessible and effective level while improving the coordination and integration of all levels of palliative care,
- improving the quality of palliative care at the national level, in particular ensuring appropriate care at home and accelerating the development of palliative care for palliative groups.
The programme will also promote the exchange of experiences, knowledge and best practices with Swiss partner (s).
In order to better prepare for the use of available funds and exchange opinions and proposals regarding the Support Measure under the Palliative Care Programme within the second Swiss-Croatian Cooperation Programme, the Ministry of Health, in its role as the Programme Operator, invites interested stakeholders to consultations.
