On January 14, 2025, the Eurostars 3 Call for International Collaborative Projects (Call 8) was opened.
Innovative small and medium-sized enterprises have the opportunity to benefit from cooperation with companies and organizations in up to 37 countries.
Eurostars is a programme that encourages small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to cooperate with international partners in launching research and development (R&D) activities. The basic criterion is the participation of at least two member states in the project. The competition and the list of participating countries can be found at the link.
The main partner in the project must be a small or medium-sized company engaged in research and development (innovative SME). Other project partners must be small or medium-sized companies. Scientific research institutions can participate in the project as external associates, but they cannot independently participate in the project or be a member of the HR consortium. The maximum amount of non-refundable support per individual project is EUR 200,000, or 60% for micro and small enterprises and 50% for medium-sized enterprises, whichever is less.
The deadline for submitting a full application is March 13th 2025 at 14:00:00 via the link.
The objectives of the Eurostars programme are:
- to encourage companies to invest in reasearch and development activities and thus strengthen their innovation capacity,
