On July 12, 2024, the Croatian Agency for Small Business, Innovation and Investments (HAMAG-BICRO) opened a joint call for international collaborative projects in the Eurostars 3 programme – European Partnership on Innovative SMEs/Eurostars.
Eurostars is part of the European Partnership for Innovative SMEs. The partnership is co-financed by the European Union through Horizon Europe. This call is also co-financed by the Research programme under the second Swiss contribution.
Applicants can be small and medium-sized companies engaged in research and development. Projects that would be co-financed should include the development of a new product, service or process, and the costs that can be justified by the same are employee salaries, depreciation and small inventory, costs of external services, travel costs and other development costs.
The condition for applying to the call is that 50% of the total project costs related to research and development activities be achieved by small and medium-sized companies (subcontracting costs cannot be included in the percentage).
The maximum amount of funding is EUR 200,000, or up to 60% for micro and small businesses and 50% for medium-sized businesses (whichever is smaller).
The period of co-financing is up to 36 months.
Submission of the full application is online, until September 12, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.
The call also allows interested companies to send working versions of their applications to the “Voucher programme for the services of experts for assistance in the preparation of a project application for the Eurostars programme”. The best-rated pre-applications will have the possibility of co-financing the services of experts to help in the preparation of projects in the form of the mentioned vouchers in the amount of 3350 euros. The deadline for submitting a pre-application is July 15, 2024. years.
