12 Jun 53 small projects contracted within NGO Block Grant and Partnership Block Grants

The ceremony of presenting 53 civil society organization projects within the NGO Block Grant and the Partnership Block Grants held on 3th of June 2019 in Zagreb.
Through the Call for proposals for NGO Block Grant, in total 43 projects with the aim to strengthen contribution of civil society organization to economic and social cohesion and sustainable development were agreed for financing. While implementation of 10 projects within the Partnership block Grants will contribute to strengthen cooperation between Croatian and Swiss partners for local social and economic growth and development.

During the ceremony, Ms Helena Beus, director of the Office for the Cooperation with NGOs, H.E. Ms Emilija Georgiev Regamey, the Ambassador of Switzerland in Croatia and the State Secretary for the MRDEUF Mr Velimir Žunac addressed audience.
Also, the representatives of five selected projects participated in discussion on the role of civil society organizations in the development of partnerships for sustainable development of local communities.
