The Croatian Science Foundation has announced the results of the MAPS-2024 call, which is implemented under the Second Swiss Contribution. A total of 334 applications<\/strong> were submitted to the call, out of which 86 with Croatian partners. 318 applications were sent for evaluation, out of which 82 with Croatian partners \u2013 140 from the field of Natural Sciences and Engineering (STEM), 111 from the field of Life Sciences (LS) and 67 from the field of Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH). After the evaluation process, a total of 29 project proposals<\/strong> were approved for funding, out of which 11 involve researchers from Croatia<\/strong>.<\/p>

MAPS (Multilateral Academic Projects) is a multilateral initiative that supports collaborative research projects between scientists based in Switzerland and their colleagues in Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Poland and Romania. The MAPS-2024 call opened on April 2, 2024, with a deadline of July 1, 2024. Project consortia with at least one applicant based in Switzerland and two to five additional collaborators from two to five of the aforementioned countries applied to the call.<\/p>
