Demining of this area has contributed to the safety of the local population and employees of Croatian Forests who live and work there, and enabled the use of the forest for economic purposes. As part of the project, a database of mine victims was also created and an analysis of their needs and the needs of their families was carried out with the aim of defining activities that will contribute to the improvement of their socio-economic conditions and increase the quality of life. Based on the results of this analysis, psychosocial assistance and training activities were carried out for the purpose of easier employment, and through the call for financing small projects and investments, funds were allocated to 15 beneficiaries to encourage the development of entrepreneurship in the Republic of Croatia intended for registered mine victims and their family
